Abide In You
Written by Mark W. Fields

Abide in You,
How I try to do.
Oh the fruits to bare,
In Your loving care.

An Outside Eye
Written by Mark W. Fields

There’s a city on the run;
Blackened by their burning Sun.
It’s overcast by dark black fear,
With occasional showers of hard tears.

Day of Grace
Written by Mark W. Fields

In midst the battle of the day,
When all hope faded away.
I sunk to my knees,
Hoping to state my pleas.

Great Is
Written by Mark W. Fields

Great is the heart,
That’s full of love.
Great is the soul,
That’s free as a dove.

I Tried
Written by Mark W. Fields

I took my thoughts,
And laid them down.
So I could see,
My reflection on the ground.

I Wish
Written by Mark W. Fields

I wish I was the moon,
Reflecting on a car’s hood.
I wish I was a deer,
Hiding in the dark woods.

Mighty Loving Lord

You’re my father up above;
My mighty loving rescue dove.

Mortal Death

You fearful emotional rain?

My Lord

For time and joy are so slim.

My Protecting King

 My life is totally surrounded in pain,
But by God’s grace I’m still sane.
His love is all that protects,
From the World’s killing effect.

O Lord

Hear my cry, O Lord.

Of Different Kin
Written by Mark W. Fields

The growth of their hearts,
Seems so distant, so strange.
Simple it does start,
Yet ends so evil, so derange.

Of Him
Written by Mark W. Fields

 Of Him, The wise do speak;
Of Him, The humble do seek.
Of Him, The joyful do praise;
Of Him, The Spirit does blaze.

On Her Day

On her day,
A Gift could not be ample.
For all the ways
She gave me loves samples.

Once Upon a Day
Written by Mark W. Fields

Once upon a day,
The World did say;
What you have begun,
Just cannot be done.

Restore A Sinner

Precious Loving Lord;
To You how I do cry.
For my sins are so many,
That my heart could just die.

Swaying Grass
Written by Mark W. Fields

Grass withers and flowers fade,
But the Word of God is forever made.
Yet many are like that grass,
Which sway with the mass.

The Crafty Thief
Written by Mark W. Fields

It steals a bird of it’s wings,
It rapes a throne of it’s king.
It takes a man of it’s soul,
It deprives a warrior of it’s goal.

The Empty Street

Love is a two way street,
It’s not an easy feat.
The only person I see,
Is a lonely man named Me.

The Keeper of the Flame

The World says I have no ambition,

The might of our Lord,
Beyond the extremes of our mind.
His truth, a double-edge sword;
Piercing the hearts of our kind.

Worlds View
Written by Mark W. Fields

World I knew you had a view;
But your foolishness I wish I knew.
Pride leads you as a beast,
As you search for a love feast.
